florida office tourism

By this time of the year I end up with a ton of little projects all half undone. Orders that need some tweak to finish, marketing copy and photos that need to be put togther for ads and TV commercials and some repair work on the equipment that gets used to hard all during the summer.

With no one in the studio I get to crank up the iTunes and runaround barefooted from computer to computer with a half dozen things all up and running at once. It's nice getting things done even though I know I am wasting a totally wonderful day outside. With luck there will be more days like today and with more luck I can hit the Lassen Trail with the XCountry skis in just a month or two.

peace,

I work at a fast food restaurant. That being said I was the front cashier (for the inside of the restaurant) for the first hour that we opened before I was put back on my regular position (the drive thru). About 20 minutes after opening the doors and after serving a few customers, a guy dressed in a sweater and bulky jacket walked up to me and looks a bit nervous, and I was thinking that it was an order gone wrong... But...

Guy: This has to be the most regrettable thing I have ever done... (he pauses and looks at me) But I was in here last night...
Me: (wondering if he is going to get to the point)
Guy: And a chick here gave me her number... (pauses again, I stare at him) And I lost it
Me: Well, that sucks... Did she... Work here or something?
Guy: Yeah ... And I was wondering if you could get her number for me?
Me: Well, no, it is against company policy to give out phone numbers and work schedules to people...
Guy: Really?
Me: Yeah... What is her name? Maybe sheapos;s working right now... (I doubted it though)
Guy: I donapos;t know that either.
Me: Well, describe her then? (he does) Ah... apos;Aapos; no sorry sheapos;s not working now. But I can take your name and number and give it to her the next time she comes in.

Guy gives me his name, apos;Bapos;, but then hesitates when I go to write his number down. We then proceed to argue about giving out her number. My co-workers were walking around listening in, and my manager apos;Lapos; was pouring a coffee for drive-thru during part of the exchange and she backed me up. But the guy was too stupid to get it that we canapos;t give out numbers Then he had a smart plan. A bribe

B: How about I let you squeeze my biceps if you give me her number?

I think about lost my eyebrows they were so high on my forehead.

Me: Uh... No... Sorry... I have a boyfriend... (I laughed uncomfortably)
B: I bet he doesnapos;t have arms like me though
Me: (I look at his jacket, bulky enough you canapos;t tell what they look like anyway) He could...
B: Oh really? (in a way he thinks Iapos;m making it up)
Me: Yes... He works in construction.

He wheedles with us some more and I finally have enough;

Me: Iapos;m sorry but I am going to have to ask you to leave... We arenapos;t giving out employeeapos;s numbers and I would really like to serve the guests behind you if you arenapos;t buying anything.
---

Really? Youapos;d let me squeeze your biceps??? HOW KIND OMG Iapos;d sooo love to... *cough*
Sorry I tried not to be too long winded

1. Went to Powerplant and tested along with my family this very high-class-expensive restaurant with a honey machine. Iapos;m not going to describe the details here because Iapos;m going to use it for my short story. :)

2. Then we went up one floor and decided to play at timezone. I saw beige cushions for their food court so I told them that the arcade games are probably expensive. But they were not so I went inside looking for something to play. Unfortunately, the lights malfunctioned until it totally went black.

3. UP. Faculty Center. This was where we were going to hold our highschool reunion. While thereapos;s an academic competition: UP vs. All Filipinos. Itapos;s part of the Universities vs. All Filipinos competition. I was told the next stop would be Ateneo vs. All Filipinos but we had to model our highschool butts first. Melissa (Santos?) was trying to help me get into my black and white polka dots dress but only ended up taking off my bra. My boobs were showing and they were all ashamed for me. But I was only irritated because we were running out of time trying put on my bra. We hurried towards Claro M. Recto with my boobs still showing. Some boys were outside and laughing at me. I shouted, "Hoy Di ba taga-UPIS kayo? Bawal kayo dito" They ran away, scared. Then Chesca Sta. Maria went in with one of our batchmates. The modelling had started. I still couldnapos;t get my bra on.

4. I dreamt of Sir Vlad. It was a happy dream. I couldnapos;t remember it. But it made me have a romantic crush on him, he was holding my chin and stuff as we talked. (Kilig, kilig. Hahahahah.)

5. I went to Jollibee Katipunan and met Neri and some other person. There was something wrong with the aircondition chorva. So we decided to turn on the ceiling fans but was hesitant to do it. So some girl got to it before us.

I donapos;t know about the rest of you, but I hate what theyapos;ve done with Pamapos;s character. Who is she now? Why should I care about her? Sheapos;s no longer even remotely relate-able now. I understand, yes, woooo character development, but a Pam with no issues is a boring Pam indeed. Itapos;s almost like they are trying to make Pam into some sort of lame miss perfect, girl-next-door archetype, and itapos;s DULL AS HELL. And WHAT was up with her blabbering on and on about stupid college gossip? Were they attempting to make her seem vapid and mindless? UGHH I just despise Pam now, and itapos;s upsetting, as I used to love her so. Season three Pam rocks my socks... I want season five Pam to die in a fiery car wreck (at least it would be interesting to watch). Seriously. I donapos;t even care that much about JAM/PBJ/whatever you want to call it anymore. Jim can do better than her. Like ME. Heh.apos;
